My name is Nick Kamp and I'm from Rochester Hills, Michigan. I'm a freshman in the College of Engineering here at U of M and I plan to major in aerospace engineering. Outside of class I spend my hours working at a sandwich shop called Revive or taking part in a research project that involves using scintillation light to locate neutrons. I joined Fiji because of the longstanding tradition of camaraderie and friendship between all of its members, regardless of age.

My name is
Andrew Kahn, and I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan. I'm from Newton, MA and chose to come to Michigan to study finance at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In addition to business I love to play lacrosse and basketball. I am also a member of the Detroit Revitalization and Impact Initiative and we work to provide financial literacy and opportunities to under-privileged youth in the greater Detroit area. I joined Fiji because I wanted to be a part of a brotherhood that is tight-knit and honest to one another. I look forward to my time at the University of Michigan and more specifically as a part of the Fiji brotherhood. I can't wait for the amazing stories that'll accumulate over the next three and a half years.

My name is
Cooper Lev and I am from a town just outside Boston, MA called Brookline. I was drawn to Michigan not simply because of the athletics, but because of the academic prowess shown by the whole student body. As of right now, I am on a track to be majoring in sport management. The University of Michigan is one of the few schools that offer this type of major, and that really influenced my decision in coming to this University. Outside of academics, I am involved with the club golf team, the Sport Business Club and the fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta.  Choosing to participate in the golf team and business clubs were no brainers to me, however, I found it more difficult to pick a fraternity where I would be happy. After meeting several brothers in the fraternity, I came to realize that they reminded me of my friends back home. I could see myself becoming life long friends with people I met not too long ago. With a college semester under my belt, I can comfortably say that I believe I have made the right decision in picking Phi Gamma Delta, and that won't change.

I'm
Payton McLoughlin; I'm from Bloomfield Hills, MI. I hope to major in business, but I keep my options open to many other areas of study. I'm just very interested in pursing a career involving working with people and numbers. At the University of Michigan, I'm a captain of my team in Dance Marathon, and that takes up much of my time and commitment. Other than that, I focus much of my time on my work for school. I joined Phi Gamma Delta because in the past four years of my life during high school, I truly learned the importance and impact of being a contributing part of a brotherhood, and I hope to be a part of one at this university. Phi Gamma Delta, of all fraternities on campus, I know upholds this value of brotherhood higher than any other. Thus far, I have loved my experience learning at U of M, pledging this fraternity, and making memories along the way.

Hello, my name is
Joey Cofsky. I'm from Oak Park, Illinois, which is 20 minutes west of Chicago. I am a Pre-Admit to the Business school, so I plan to study some type a business, although I do not know which field specifically. I intend to join a consulting club in the near future, and I also plan to get involved with Dance Marathon.  I joined Fiji because its emphasis of brotherhood really stood out among the other houses. What really solidified my decision as well was the phrase "Not for college days alone", because I was/am really looking for lifetime friendships rather than just friends for four years.
