My name is Patrick Ian Thompson and I am from a town called Longmeadow, Massachusetts. I am a sophomore Economics major who transferred to the University of Michigan after spending my freshman year at Boston College. Other than FIJI, I am involved in a community service fraternity and Michigan Economics Club on campus. I love to play soccer and ski and a participated on my high schools soccer and ski teams. As a new second year student to the University I thought the best way to meet new people was to join a fraternity and from that decision it made my transfer process much easier than I thought it would be. When I came to FIJI's open house in September I just new it was the right place for me. So far, I am really enjoying my time here at the University of Michigan and pledging for FIJI.

My name is Robert Bakerian and I am from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. I hope to enter the business school and major in finance. Here at U of M I am involved in a volunteer program called the Michigan Community Scholars Program. We work with children ages 3-5 in Detroit. I joined Fiji because of the strong sense of camaraderie and brotherhood between members. If you need help with schoolwork, or have problems outside the classroom, there is always someone by your side.

My name is
Luke Boswell and I am from Franklin Lakes, NJ. I am currently in the school of engineering here at Michigan, but I am yet to decide my specific engineering discipline. I went to an all boys high school and because of that, I became extremely close with my friends. I wanted that same connection with a group of guys here at Michigan, which is why I decided to rush. I came to Fiji's open houses and immediately knew that I could become very close with the guys in this house. I am very proud of having the opportunity to join Fiji.

Hi, my name is John Safko and I am from Waterford, Michigan. I am studying Economics and Spanish here at UMich and I hope to one day study abroad in Spain. When I am not studying I like to play videogames with friends on my hall and play basketball at the CCRB. I would like to be in Phi Gamma Delta because this house has given me a home away from home, and offered me friendship that will last a lifetime.

I'm
Steven Brown from West Caldwell, New Jersey. I am currently applying to the Ross School of Business in hopes of majoring in business. I joined FIJI for the lasting brotherhood and ample philanthropic opportunities offered by the organization. FIJI has helped me mature and adjust to life as a college student during my freshman year at the University of Michigan. Also at the University of Michigan, I am a member of the Michigan Business Club and Be the Match, an organization that seeks to find random bone marrow donors for those in need of a bone marrow transplant.

My name is Alexander Houser and I am a new member of the Alpha Gamma pledge class at the University of Michigan. I am from Pittsburgh, PA and recently transferred to Michigan from the University of Alabama. I was attracted to this fraternity because of the strong brotherhood and the opportunities that are provided to me through my membership. I am a sophomore in the School of Nursing and am a proud member of the College Republicans at the University of Michigan.
